The stuff itself was fine, nothing amazing but it did the job. My main issue is the prices felt way too high for basic archival supplies. They also make it sound like you’re getting some sort of premium quality or extra value, but it’s all kind of vague and never really clear what justifies the cost...

"Packaging felt like an afterthought"
My order showed up in rough shape, mostly because the packaging seemed really weak. The corners were bent and the whole thing just looked like it had been tossed together without much care. I could be wrong, but it kind of felt like they were trying to cut costs on packing materials. For archival items, I expected way better protection. I probably won’t order again if this is how they ship things...

"Never really felt like they fixed it"
I had an issue with my order the support experience just made it worse. They kept sending these short replies that didn’t really answer anything, and it dragged on way longer than it should have. Even after all that, I still didn’t feel like the problem was actually resolved. It’s frustrating because I used to feel okay ordering from them, but this whole thing definitely made me lose trust.

"I won’t be ordering from here again"
I ordered from archivalmethods.com once, that was enough for me. The order took longer than I expected, and when it finally arrived, the packaging didn’t feel like it was handled with much care. I also reached out to customer service and the response was slower than I think is reasonable. To me, if a company is taking people’s money, they should make the effort to communicate clearly and ship items properly. I don’t really feel good supporting a place that doesn’t seem to take that responsibility seriously, so I won’t be buying from them again.

"Shopping for Storage Sleeves Was Frustrating"
I was trying to order some storage sleeves, but the site just felt kind of clunky to me. Pages took a while to load, the filters were confusing, and the checkout kept jumping around on my phone. Maybe others had a smoother time, but I ended up getting frustrated and gave up after a bit. In my opinion, the site could really use some cleanup

"Shipping took way too long"
My order took much longer to ship than I expected. I kept checking for updates. There really weren’t many.
That part was frustrating. I just wanted to know what was going on. It felt like I was waiting forever.
The items were fine once they arrived. No issues there. But I wouldn’t order again if I needed something quickly.

"Said in stock, but apparently not"
I ordered a few archival boxes because the website clearly showed they were available. Then a couple days later, I get a notice saying part of my order is backordered with no real idea of when it’ll ship. Maybe I’m being picky, but I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect the inventory on the site to be accurate, especially when people are ordering for something they need that week. If it’s not actually in stock, just say that upfront. It ended up wasting my time and threw off my project.
"Didn't hold up as long as I hoped"
These boxes were okay overall, but the corners started bending a little sooner than I expected. They might be fine for lighter use, just not quite as sturdy as I was hoping for.

I was ready to place my order because the price was actually reasonable, but the checkout kept failing over and over. As someone who’s trying to stick to a budget, it was frustrating to spend time finding a decent deal and then not be able to complete the purchase. I ended up giving up after a few tries.

I was expecting better. The corners bent really fast, and the paper feels thin and kind of cheap. It just doesn’t feel sturdy at all, which is SUCH a letdown.

"Frustrating customer service experience"
Customer service really wasn’t helpful at all. I just had a simple question about my order, and the reply I got was short and didn’t actually answer what I asked. It felt like one of those automated systems was just trying to get me out of the way instead of actually helping. I followed up again and still got the same rushed feeling. Frustrating overall, and I probably won’t order from here again

I reached out to customer service and still haven’t gotten any kind of reply. It’s disappointing, especially when you’re just trying to get a simple answer.

I was all set to place an order from archivalmethods.com, but then the shipping cost showed up and basically said, “Surprise, I’m the main character.” It felt way too high compared to what I was actually buying. The products might be great, but I just couldn’t justify paying that much just to have them delivered. disappointing.

"Didn't really protect my photos"
I bought these sleeves for some old family photos, but I wasn’t too happy with them. A few of the prints still ended up with marks, and the plastic felt flimsy to me. Maybe I was expecting more, but I wouldn’t buy them again.

"Just didn’t feel good about the order"
I ordered from archivalmethods.com the whole experience just left a bad taste. Nothing about it felt easy, and I kept feeling like it was way more frustrating than it needed to be. The service didn’t really come across as helpful either, at least not to me. I can’t even point to one thing that ruined it, but overall I just wasn’t happy with how it all went. Maybe others have a better experience, but I probably wouldn’t order from them again.

"Too Tight for 8x10 Prints"
I ordered these sleeves because they were marked 8x10, but they ended up being just a little too tight for my prints. I actually had to trim the edges to get them to fit, which is ridiculous. Annoying experience overall

I ordered a few archival boxes and spent a little time putting them together one afternoon. The first couple took me a minute because I had to figure out the folds, and the instructions weren’t quite as clear as I would’ve liked. But once it clicked, the rest went together quickly. Overall, not a big hassle and they did the job fine.
